Are Brands Turning Dull?

This is something that could be up for much debate. There was a time when brands were so up and coming and exciting, because everything they were doing was new at the time. If you look back to some of the adverts that coca cola were first putting out, they were truly captivating to the people watching them, simply because they were one of the first creating that style of bright and eye catching brand, and TV advertisements. But if you have a look at what’s on TV now, and if you have a look at some of the brands that are circulating at the minute, then you’ll understand that there’s actually not a lot that can be called great at the minute. Everything seems to be much the same, so for those of you who are reading this from a business point of view, you should probably start getting a little bit worried. Because the more of the same that you seem to be, the less chance you have of getting noticed. But don’t get us wrong, there are still ways that you can stand out as a brand, and we’re going to list a few of them to you today. Keep on reading, and hopefully this will show how you can keep your brand alive, and the mistakes people are making.

What Mistakes Are Brands Making

So if we were to look at brands as a whole, there are tons of mistakes that we can find them to be making. For one, they all seem to be doing the same thing at the minute. Where brands are in the same niche, you can literally hear the same jingle in their adverts, see the similarities in their websites and pricing, and see the similarities in their products. So we think that brands are becoming dull, because every brand is the same at the minute. Another mistake they’re making, is actually making themselves dull. They’re coming out with dull logos, colour schemes, and marketing techniques that are just not making them stand out from the crowd.

Keep Yours Alive

To keep a brand alive, you need to focus on marketing techniques, and making tweaks to your brand that will help you to stand out. So for example, you could make tweaks to the labelling of your products that will help to distinguish you as a brand, such as simply changing the writing, or changing the color schemes. If you visit, this is just one brand that can help you do all of that. There are other ways of keeping your brand alive, such as switching between the different marketing techniques that there are, rather than just focusing on one or two.

Don’t Focus Solely On Marketing

Marketing is something you definitely need to focus on, but it shouldn’t be the be all and end all. Some businesses spend so much time focusing on their marketing, they forget to focus on sales techniques and other areas that would really boost the brand.
